“Hrm?” Suzuha lifted her head up and smiled as she saw the black haired girl, waving back at her. “Break? As long as the boss is not back yet, I’m still on it. Just don’t tell him I am slacking off. Sssh…” She whispered, waving her hand around.
“So, whatcha got there?” She asked, looking at the small bag.
“Don’t worry! It will be Mayushii’s and Suzuha’s secret!” smiles again as she tilts her head and holds the heavy bag up.
“It’s snacks for the Lab! Mayushii thought she should bring some…”
‘Ring ring!’ As her bike slows down, Suzuha hops off her and walks along with it, still holding onto the handlebars. Dropping her bike onto the ground in front of the place she’s working, she runs inside to check the time and lets out a happy sigh, seeing as she still has time to polish her bike a bit before having to go back to work from her tiny break.
Mayuri was slowly walking up the road to Okabe’s flat as she saw the parttimewarrior polishing her bike. She got really excited to reach the place where she kneeled down and hurried her steps up to her.
“Ah! Suzu-san!” she waved at her and laid her bag full with food down. “Are you still in break?”
She tries a bite of the food eagerly.
“Mm! Mayuri, it’s really good! You’re a great cook! Those boys need you around here.”
She eats happily, glad that Mayuri’s mood seems to have improved.
“Ah! Thank you Kurisu-chan!” smiles and tilts her head tightly as she eats more off the plate. “Say,Kurisu-chan…. What did you learn in the school you were?? Mayushii is sure she won’t understand too much since all the things you and Okarin talk about are complicated,but Mayushii is curious!”
“Oh, thank you Mayuri! That’s very thoughtful of you!”
She smiles as Mayuri serves her. At least she doesn’t seem too upset.
Puts some rice on the plates as she fastly puts the cups away again into a bag and fastly sits besides Kurisu.
“It’s not really hot or warm anymore but… I hope you’ll like it,Kurisu-chan!” turns to her with a smile as she mumbles to herself. “Mayushii is glad when she can be of help…or isn’t really alone.”
Chuckles to herself as she takes a bite of the food,her expression seems to show that she enjoys it.
“Oh, no, I haven’t.”
She shifts uncomfortably, worried about Mayuri’s feelings of neglect.
“Aaah! Then I have something to eat for us! I have leftovers from dinner.” smiles brightly as she brings some plates and puts some of the food on both of their plates. “I made Curry and I had too much left…”
“Mayuri, you shouldn’t…well, I know I say a lot about Okabe being an idiot. Maybe too much, actually. But you shouldn’t think he’s so stupid that he’ll forget about someone important to him like you.”
Shakes her head with a smile. “Mayushii didnt mean it because of Kurisu-chan!” slowly gets up and puts the uppa on the side. “Kurisu-chan,did you eat already?”
That idiot…leaving a young girl by herself and not telling anyone where he’s going. He’s so irresponsible!
She sighed, leaning farther back onto the sofa and propping up her feet, realizing that it was her duty to stay here with Mayuri while Okabe ran around getting himself into trouble.
Hmm…Mayushii is okay with being alone though. Slightly smiles at Kurisu as her expression changes into a worried one again. Though,Mayushii is worried about Okarin…He has just been running around lately and he somehow ignores Mayushii… Mayushii doesn’t knows if she did something wrong…
